The 'Workspace List' dashboard item, allows you to display other workspaces in a list. This provides users with a direct link to the other workspaces, as well as displaying its name, picture and description.
Please note: If the other workspaces require membership approval, users will still need to request access unless they’ve already been invited or joined.
To add a workspace list:
- Go to the folder you want to display the list. Select 'Configure folder dashboard' by selecting the four squares icon in the top right or by going to the Actions menu at the bottom.
- Choose 'Add item' in the section where you want to list to appear. Under 'Site' at the bottom, select 'Workspace List'. You can always drag and drop it to a different location afterwards if needed.
- Add a title and/or description in 'Content shown before list' if needed.
Under 'Workspace List' add the shortname of the workspace you want to be displayed. If adding multiple, add each shortname on a new line from the previous.
The shortname of any workspace can be found in its web address. For example:
- The Futures homepage shortname is 'home' - https://future.nhs.uk/home/groupHome
- The Workspace Managers Community shortname is 'WorkspaceManagersCommunity' -https://future.nhs.uk/WorkspaceManagersCommunity/grouphome
- Use the remaining display options to adjust how the list appears on the dashboard.
- When done, select 'Save Changes' at the top or bottom.
