To ensure that posts are checked before being published in your forum you can enable workspace forum moderation.
To enable forum moderation for your workspace:
- Speak to the Futures team by raising a support ticket requesting moderated forum access
- The Futures team will review, if accepted we will updated your workspace to allow you to enable forum moderation
- Go to your manage workspace menu (three cog icon) and select 'Settings'.
- Navigate to 'Discussions' and you will see the settings that can be applied to your discussion forum(s).
- In your Discussion Settings, the default option is 'Never Moderate' to change this choose an option from the drop-down menu.
If you have chosen to enable workspace moderation then all new posts in your forums will be subject to these rules. For more help on approving or rejecting messages that are pending moderation please see our support article Moderating forum posts
Important: If you have chosen to switch on this feature then, to ensure that posts are actively reviewed and posted, please make sure to set up individual workspace moderators. A workspace moderator will receive notifications to review any pending posts. If you do not enable this then there is a chance that pending forum posts will not be reviewed and therefore not posted.
