Every item on Futures has 'View' and 'Modify' permissions.
- 'View' - determines access to the item and who can see it exists.
- 'Modify' - determines who can edit or delete the item and its settings.
There are different groups who can be given permissions on Futures. Permissions are set by workspace managers.
- 'Users' - Anyone who has a Futures account. They do not need to be a member of the workspace. Only on 'Open' and 'Restricted' workspaces.
- 'Members' - Those that have joined the workspace as a member. On 'Restricted', 'Private' and 'Confidential' workspaces, to be a member they need to be invited by a workspace manager.
- 'Managers' - The workspace managers
- 'Managers + Teams' - Workspace managers and any teams selected.
Permissions can be set on items when they are first created, under the 'Permissions' section.
On existing items, permissions can be set by going to the Action Menu at the bottom and selecting 'Modify [item type] properties & permissions'. Then go down and open 'Permissions'.
Each item has distinct permissions but all will have a 'View' and 'Modify' permissions.
