To login using multi-factor authentication (MFA) you will need to have an authenticator app installed on one of your devices.
Microsoft Authenticator is an example of an authenticator app commonly used by organisations for their MFA.
Our instructions set out the steps for downloading Microsoft Authenticator, however you can use other authentication apps for MFA.
If you are currently on the device you want to install your authenticator app, please use these links to download Microsoft Authenticator: For Apple devices and for Android devices.
Alternatively, please follow these steps:
- On the device you want your authenticator app, go to the 'App Store' (IOS) or 'Google Play Store' (Android).
- Go to the search and type 'Microsoft Authenticator', then select 'Install' or 'Get' on the authenticator app. When the download is complete, select 'Open'.
