If you cannot access your authentication app required to login using multi-factor authentication (MFA), there are several ways to recover access to your Futures account.
Log in with @nhs.net
If you are able to sign in using our 'Login with @nhs.net (SSO)' option, it will take you through NHSmail's authentication process and this will bypass the Futures MFA process. For more information please see: Log in with single sign on (SSO) for NHS.net or NHS England Applications
Use your recovery email
You will have a recovery email associated with your account. An email will be sent to that address with a recovery code, use this code to login. Please note this recovery code will only work for 10 minutes after it is requested and you will need to generate a new one if you do not login within this period.
Use a recovery code
When you first set up MFA on your account, you will have been provided recovery codes. If you made a note of them, you can enter a code to login to your account.
Contact support
If you are unable retrieve any recovery codes, as a final option, you can contact the Futures support team to retrieve one. To make sure it is you, we will ask you to answer a security question. You will have provided the answers to your prompts when you first set up MFA on your account.
